Indonesian Dentists Celebrate World Oral Health Day

Sample News Big

The Indonesia Dental Association hosted free dental checks, educational sessions and oral health-themed activities, to celebrate World Oral Health Day.

Dentists offered free dental check-ups and treatment for adults and children in Surabaya and dental education programmes were also provided at the Dentistry Faculty at Hang Tuah University.

The World Oral Health Day campaign is designed to raise the profile of oral health all over the world and encourage people to take better care of their teeth and gums. In many countries, oral health is neglected and a large proportion of people do not have access to routine dental care.

Elementary school students were taught about oral hygiene and how to brush and clean their teeth properly, which will hopefully prevent oral health diseases in the future.
