Dental Nurse or Technician, you must be registered or in training

Dental Nurse or Technician, you must be registered or in training The GDC, U.K., says that you must be registered or training if you are working as a technician or a dental nurse, experience no longer counts. These titles are protected under law: dental technician, dental surgical assistant, dental nurse, and dental technologist. If you are not registered and using the above titles, you can face criminal prosecution. If you are working as one of these people and calling yourself something else, this is misleading and you can face criminal prosecution. Also, if you hire one of these people, and they are not registered, you are risking losing your own registration. These people should also be working for an appropriately registered person while performing their training. So, in order fo you to have a dental title, register or find the right person to  train you; it is that simple!
