Dental Nurse Celebrating After Being Named Miss India Dudley
A dental nurse from Halesowen is celebrating after being named Miss India Dudley; Sharonnjit Kaur Dulay will now compete for the Miss India UK title in Oxford next week.
Miss Dulay, from Lapal Lane South, spends her days working at a Worcester dental practice as a dental nurse and said that she is “very proud” to be able to represent Dudley and hopefully compete for global, as well as national titles.
Miss Dulay said that her friends, family and work colleagues had been very supportive and everyone was thrilled with the result and wishing her all the best for next week’s competition.
As well as pursuing her dental career Miss Dulay is also keen to get involved in charity work and she plans to help raise money for Sightsavers, an organisation, which tackles blindness in developing countries. Miss Dulay also wants to put her dental skills to use and she is hoping to visitIndiato provide people living in remote villages with basic dental treatment.
