Darwen Dental Practice Celebrates Gold Award From The British Dental Association
A dental team from Darwen, near Blackburn, is all smiles after winning a prestigious award from the British Dental Association. Bateman and Best has been awarded the BDA Good Practice award for 10 consecutive years, culminating in the receipt of the Gold award this year.
The BDA Good Practice awards are given out to dental practices, which maintain extremely high standards of patient care and dental treatment. The Gold Award is given in recognition of consistent high standards and marks 10 years of achievement.
The practice, which is located on Blackburn Road, was set up 35 years ago by Julie Best and Darreners Anthony and is now run by their son, Mike, who is a qualified dentist with big plans for the future.
After graduating from Leeds University, Mike worked in London and travelled to Australia before taking over the Darwen practice three years ago. Now that the team has been awarded the Gold mark, he is thinking of expanding in a move, which will create between 10 and 20 new jobs.
Mike said that the award is a great honour and thanked all the team for their hard work and continued efforts to ensure that patients receive the best possible standards of care.
