A good smile 'maximises positive features'
Jeff Golub-Evans of the New York Center for Cosmetic Dentistry told Marketplace that there are a number of ways to help patients look good.
teeth whitening is one, but Mr Golub-Evans also specialises in a treatment he describes as a "smile makeover" which involves using dental veneers to improve misshapen teeth.
The treatment does more than just change the way someone's teeth appear, he added, explaining: "A good smile, like good eyeglasses, actually can maximise your positive features and minimise the negative features."
Women thinking about getting a smile makeover of their own may well be hoping that it accentuates their positives enough for them to look a bit more like Kylie.
A recent survey by Tesco dental insurance found the pint-sized Australian pop star has the nation's favourite smile, ahead of those sported by actress Liz Hurley and tabloid favourite Kelly Brook.
