I don’t often bother to write to thank a company for its efforts but this time I feel compelled, having received back my wedding photos and realised what a great job you have done in whitening my teeth.

From the immediate sense of professionalism at the first point of contact in booking the appointment to the after service of providing further advice on the home top up kit, I cannot fault the service you have provided. Your staffs are welcoming, knowledgeable and highly professional at all times.

The consultation provided me with a great opportunity to learn about the process and to put my mind at rest by asking questions.

Throughout the procedure you made sure I was comfortable at all times, explained what was going on and even provided me with a movie of my choice to watch!

I don’t usually write recommendation letters for anything, but after the work and care that Dr Nghiem and his team showed me I feel it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t give them the thanks they deserve.

Before even looking for a dentist I had searched online for treatment, looking especially at whitening and filling treatments for my tired grey teeth. I was initially meant to be having a consultation (a very expensive consultation may I add) at a dentist on Cannon St, but after seeing an advert for Ultrasmile in one of the papers I decided to give the number a call.

I began explaining my needs and situation to the receptionist, who could tell that I was in need of more in depth information. She therefore passed me over to the dentist, who quite happily answered my questions, even though he could have quite easily have avoided the phone call and passed me off. He then told me I could come in for a FREE consultation and at that point I knew this was the type of dental practice I had been looking for.

Although the consultation had gone well and the dentist explained thoroughly what I would need to achieve my dream smile I was slightly upset, as even though the cost was cheaper than quoted at other practices it was still a little out of my price range. It almost felt like I had fallen at the last hurdle. It seemed like I wouldn’t be able to have my smile unless I won the lottery (I even bought a ticket on the way home!).

However, after actually studying my finances properly I could see that I wasn’t as far off from achieving my dream smile as I thought and with help and creative thinking I was able to gather the money in full, which the practice rewarded me for by giving me a 5% discount.

The next step was to overcome my fear of dentists! I know, I’m a glutton for punishment! And although I was a little nervous during the first few appointments the care and professionalism of Dr Nghiem and the team shone through and I soon felt confident and calm in their care. That being said I still want to thank everyone at UltraSmile for putting up with me when I became stressed and for being completely caring and understanding throughout. I was always made to feel welcome at this practice, and they all went out of their way to make me feel like their number one client.

During the consultations I was always given every bit of information I could ever want and all of my questions were answered in full. I was never patronized or made to feel silly no matter what I asked or what my worries were. Dr Nghiem was also very up front about the cost of the treatment and how long things would take, which made me trust him even more. He is also a dedicated perfectionist, so you know that your smile is going to be perfect when he is finished.

Being a nervous patient I did need reassurance, but Dr Nghiem and the team were always happy to bolster me up again and make me feel confident in the care and treatment I was receiving. The dental work was the very highest class and even the dental lab used to great my veneers was the very best.

The results were incredible, and I could even dare to say that they are better than many celebrity veneers! I have already recommended the practice to all my family and friends and people who haven’t seen me for a bit are knocked out by the transformation. They know they can’t be my horrible, old damaged teeth, but they look so natural that sometimes they get a little confused by the changed! Which of course is brilliant!

I have to talk about Marcia the receptionist too, as she was just so helpful and so accommodating to my schedule needs! She also always made sure that I was comfortable at the practice and always had drinks and reassurance to hand.

The practice itself is a beautiful and comfortable place to be in and they use every way possible to ensure that the building, equipment and rooms are spotlessly clean, I think they might be a little obsessed with the cleaning to be honest!

I don’t have a lot of spare money to just throw away, as I am a working mother, but I can honestly say that every penny I saved was well spent on my treatment, as the results have changed my life.

This wasn’t more apparent than on my wedding day and the ability to show how happy I was by smiling ALL DAY was priceless.

To the incredible UltraSmile team, that you so much for your understanding and outstanding care. I just have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your services and for always making me feel welcome at your practice with your smiling faces and a nice cuppa!

Since winning Britain’s Next Top Model I have been travelling throughout the world, building up a good client base and featuring in many ad campaigns. I am now part of a number of model agencies, with the best (in my opinion) being Elite based in Miami. I now head to Miami 6 months out of the year and then headed to Francia, Barcelona for 3 months of summer work. Working in such an imaged based industry obviously requires a ‘certain look’ which I must maintain at all times and a great smile has to be part and parcel of that look. Thanks to Dr Thang Nghiem my smile is as perfect as it can be and has greatly helped me improve my career opportunities.

A lot of my work involves commercials on the TV, which require a good set of teeth and a good-looking smile. Some of the adverts I have been on include: A Babyliss advert for hairdryers, a Pearl deodorant advert about having confidence and a Nivea beauty advert. I have also worked in a Sony campaign, which involved me have fun with my ‘boyfriend’ laughing and running around on a hot day. There was also the ‘Fit Flops’ campaign, which focused on personal health and fitness and had me out with friends, walking my dog etc and needed me to be smiley, happy and confident.
I do not think I would have got half these jobs without the help of Thang and his team and it really has helped me expand my career.
I am also very involved with fashion and have featured on the covers of a number of magazines, including Plaers (Spanish magazine) Company, 5th Avenue (American magazine) Sunday Express and T3 (top gadget magazine). I have also had my fashion tips and storied featured in magazines like OK, Instyle, Grazia, Now, OK and the Sunday Supplements
My fashion work also involved underwear jobs for companies such as Maya swimwear, Asda and Debenhams (modelling swimwear for a Mathew Williamson collection).
This year I am hoping to expand my client list even more, by visiting Germany and Cape Town. I am so grateful for the job and life opportunities my career gives me and in turn this makes me very grateful for my new smile.
