Biography for Paul Robinson

Paul Robinson graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London in dentistry in 1970 and medicine in 1981, before spending several years working in general dentistry and then deciding to specialise in oral surgery.

Paul has been instrumental in the development of the field of oral surgery as a speciality within dental practice, and he is actively involved in a number of societies and associations. He was a consultant and senior lecturer at GKT Dental School, University of London and he has also written two textbooks on the subjects of local anaesthesia in dentistry and tooth extraction.

He lectures in the UK and abroad and is a well-respected surgeon. In 1992, Paul was awarded a Hunterian Professorship of the Royal College of Surgeons and he is a self-appointed ambassador of oral surgery.

Paul’s interests include bone substitution, bone grafting, implantology, and dento-alveolar surgery. He is renowned for his clinical excellence and warm, relaxed nature.
