Dr Shivani Patel qualified from the United Medical and Dental Schools, London (Guy’s Hospital), before pursuing further study in orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital.

Shivani has spent time in a number of different fields since graduating, including oral and maxillofacial surgery. Shivani was given the European Orthodontic Society’s high-status William Houston Award for her research into sleep apnoea for her Master’s study.

She undertook further clinical training at Guy’s Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital in West Sussex, and was subsequently prized with a Fellowship in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Shivani has a range of interests, including the treatment and management of sleep apnoea and snoring. She is also the clinical lead for Suresmile, a treatment exclusive to elleven orthodontics.
