Biography for Dr Simon Partridge

Dr Simon Partridge achieved his qualifications from Cardiff Dental School in 1981 before working in general dentistry in Weymouth. He joined the Royal Army Dental Corps in 1983, during which he served in many areas before retiring and moving to North Yorkshire in 2002.

Simon divides his time between Clock Tower Dental Care and a practice in York, where he spends one day per week providing dental care to children and adults with special needs. This is a role he finds extremely rewarding.

He achieved the Diploma in General Practice in 1995 and gained a Certificate in Management from the Open University in 1997. Simon was prized with the Membership Diploma in General Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2001 and became an official vocational trainer with the Defence Dental Agency in 2002.

In addition to this range of accomplishments, Simon is an associate of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and the British Dental Association. He is dedicated to professional development and attends courses on a regular basis.

In his spare time, Simon enjoys walking with his family and he is in charge of organising the annual ‘practice walk’.
