Fahd qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2003. Following this he undertook various degrees and hospital posts at the University of Leicester and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, along with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Fahd developed interests in sedation, oral surgery and restorative dentistry and focused his work on these areas.

Fahd is currently a specialist registrar in periodontology at Kings College London and Guys Hospital. He actively takes part in training and mentoring newly qualified dentists, young dental students and general practitioners in managing gum disease. He has given several lectures on this topic across the country. As well as patients at Bow Lane, he also treats patients from local referring practices.

In his spare time, Fahd enjoys fusion cooking, kayaking and windsurfing.
