James qualified from King’s College London in 1992 and has worked exclusively in London since 1995. He spent two years gaining a masters degree in Conservative dentistry at the esteemed Eastman Dental Institute.

He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and a past-president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to this, James is a member of the British Dental Association, the British Society of Occlusal Studies and the Association of Dental Implantology. He is also a Dental Phobia certified dentist and a trustee of the Heart Your Smile charity.

James lectures across the world and has performed more than 75 seminars on marketing your practice, minimally invasive dentistry and tooth whitening techniques. He has also appeared on many radio and television interviews and writes for Maxim magazine. In 2011 and 2012 he was listed in Private Dentistry’s Top 20 Elite Dentists poll and trade magazine Dentistry voted him most influential person in Dentistry in 2011 and 2012. James is also a judge for the Dentistry Awards and the Dental Hygienist and Therapists Awards.
