My daughter who is 4 years old now has two 2 lower inward slanting teeth. All her other teeth are normal. What could be the reason for this? Is this something to worry about?
She got her first teeth exactly when she turned 1 year old. Two lower teeth are slanting inwards face-to-face. When we consulted with a paediatrician, they told us that there was nothing to worry about. I haven’t consulted a dentist yet. I look forward to hearing your reply.

My Daughter Is Four And Two Of Her Teeth Have Grown Slanted. What Could The Reason For This Be. Is This Anything To Worry About?
Friday, August 29th, 2014My Tooth Has Become Slanted Since I Stopped Wearing My Retainer. Is There Any Way To Have This Fixed?
Wednesday, June 11th, 2014 Hello Dr Moore. I’m looking to have my teeth tidied up. My big front tooth has become slanted over the years from not wearing a retainer once my braces were removed. Is there any way I can have this fixed without the long term hassle of fixed braces? My top teeth also look as though they could and should be filed down, as they appear to look jagged.
If all of this can can be achieved, would you be able to estimate how much this would cost? Thank you for taking the time to listen to my enquiry.
I Desperately Need Braces For My Slanted Teeth, How Can I Pay For Them?
Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 Hello, I’m 18 and working and I desperately need braces due to my two front teeth have been pushed back and bent inwards, my bottom teeth have been pushed to one side and are slanted, I have a chip on one tooth and they’re all different lengths.
Will I have to pay for them braces? If yes, how much will they cost me? And will I have to pay every year or have a payment scheme? If I will be able to get braces how can I set up an appointment for this or will I go on a waiting list?
My daughter has been in braces for 4 years now and her bite is completely off! Why is this happening and what should we do?
Wednesday, November 14th, 2012Hi Dr Hughes, I wondered if you could help me? My daughter had her baby tooth removed (next to front teeth – upper) 4 yrs ago, then a brace was fixed to bring down her permanent tooth. The orthodontist said she would shift her teeth over to bring down the permanent tooth. Well, 4 yrs later, the tooth came down, but she is still in braces and her bite is completely off and her teeth are slanted. What can we do? I have consulted 3 other orthodontists who are not sure about taking over treatment. Please advise me! Thank you!
