How Much Should I Have Paid for Veneers?

Tuesday, April 14th, 2015
Q.

Hi, would you please advise? I have been wearing 11 temporary veneers for over 2 months while my porcelain ones are being made. I’ve so far had 6 appointments since requesting them in January. I was asked to pay in full just under £10,000 2 months ago and after I had paid, my final fitting was put back another month. I chose this dental practice due to past awards, now I’m beginning to regret it! Is this the normal practice? So far I’m really not happy!

Will The NHS Pay For My Dental Implants?

Monday, March 31st, 2014
Q.

Hello there, wondering if you can help me out a little with a difficult problem. I have just had 2 top right back teeth out and 2 bottom right teeth took out and I was told buy my dentist that I cannot wear dentures as I suffer from very bad epilepsy. I have suffered from this all of my life and have been told that the denture route is unsafe in case I have a seizure and swallow or choke on them. Every time I have a seizure I am badly damaging my tongue too, ripping it really badly through the gaps which are now present in my mouth from the missing teeth. The only way I can think of resolving this situation is to get implants. Will the NHS pay for me to have implants in this case do you think?

Where can I get my broken tooth removed?

Friday, January 7th, 2011
Q.

I have lost the gold crowns on two of my molars, this has been a while ago, now the stumps are broken and jagged they hurt and cut my tounge and inside my cheeks. I have no insureance and very little money. Will it they have to be surgicaly removed since they are so badly broken, parts are broken off at the gum. Where can I go to have them removed. I’m very concerned about the cost.

Do I need my bottom teeth moved in order to align my upper teeth?

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010
Q.

Hi, my two front teeth misalign a little bit (less than 2mm). I went to see the dentist today and he said my case is qualified and would take about 6-8 weeks. However, if I were to have an inman aligner treatment, he will have to push the lower teeth back to have room. Therefore, the cost of the treatment is double from £995 per arch to total £2,200. I just would like to see your point if it’s always necessary that the dentish has to push the lower teeth first before pull the upper front teeth? I just don’t want to be over charged if there are alternative more affordable price that give the same result. Please kindly advice. Thank you.
