I have a gap in the middle of my teeth and fit a lolly pop stick in it so quite large
I have had braces and it came back in a week while they are sorting my retainer out. Like I don’t know why or how this happened but it is very frustrating and knocked me quite a bit. To have it actually seem as though it is fixed and then be back to square one within a week is kind of demoralising and I need to try and get some expert advice or help on how to get it properly and permanantly resolved. Whenever I am with friends and stuff it affects the times I have negatively, like it gets me really down, and hate smileing
the skin in the middle or the gap and get quite sensitive and sore at times
what is the best soultion for this?
and kind of costs im looking at?
any advice you be greatly apprectated

Thursday, March 14th, 2013Doc, due to my consumption of sugary intake whilst at young age has caused me to have few of my upper molars drilled n filled n some taken out n because of that my up front teeth seem to be moving apart making spaces that i never had few years ago. Some of my family have recommended me i wear braces but i thought can’t wear braces in refilled teeth and also due to feeling embarrassment it is not something that i want to really do as people will see them all the time. What would you recommend me to do?
My Tooth Was Almost Knocked Out Playing Hockey And After Treatment It Is Now Turning Black, Help?
Monday, March 11th, 2013Hello Dr. 3 weeks ago I was playing hockey and my front left tooth was knocked back and almost out with a hockey stick. I was real worried at the time obviously however I was assured it was okay. The dentist put the tooth back in and then braced it to the teeth surrounding it. It has been 3 weeks since the incident and the tooth is now turning black. I was told to keep the brace on for 5 weeks. What are my options as the other front tooth has started to move forward. I do not want a black tooth as I am a business student and I want to have a decent smile as I previously had 3 years of braces. What should I do to have the best smile?

Monday, March 11th, 2013Hi, I have had gotten braces which I wore for two years but i’m still not happy with the results. They are better than they used to be but I do not think that they are anywhere near as straight as they could be. My two front teeth are not the same size and one is in front of the other. They are also in different lengths. Also the teeth which is in the back are slightly slanted so I am having trouble biting sometimes. I have gone to my local dentist and they have applied some kind of glue to elongate the shorter front tooth however it keeps on chipping. I would really like to get veneers on the top teeth.How much will it cost to get veneers one the single front tooth?
Are There Any Better Brace Deals Than The One I Have Been Offered?

I’ve got some x-rays, impressions and a cast from a clinic based in London.
They offered me a ICE ceramic brace on my upper jaw.
the payment is £1147 on the 1st visit then £100 each adjustment time until the completion.
The clinic will need to receive £200 deposit 1.5 weeks prior to the brace fitting.
– Bite raising 1.5 week depending on how the teeth and bone react
– ICE ceramic brace on the upper jaw/outside.
-And activation (includes material replacement) £100 will be payable on each visit for about 12 – 18 months, so the full course of treatment will be in the region of £2447.
The cost also includes the brace removal and retainer. But I want a gum contouring to.
Do you know if any clinics in London could offer me a better payment plan?
And can I get some dental insurance or a dental loan anywhere?

Tuesday, March 5th, 2013how much does it costs to fill the gap between my front teeth? its just a natural gap. i hate it! its becoming more wide as time goes by.. please do help! it used to be a small tiny space between now its become bigger! can there be anything i can do to fix it. like what sort of treatment is about for this situation? i have thought about stuff but am not up to date with procedures. also about braces, what are they mainly used for? can they help? i would like it if you can make recommendations because i now find it difficult to smile because i hate the gap. my two front are really nice but just without the gap! if i do use braces will i have to use them forever? this would cause me quite a lot of stress and i would rather avoid it do you know is there any permanent solution?
I Have A Misplaced Midline, Will My Dentist Allow Me To Get Braces?
Monday, March 4th, 2013I’m 14 turning 15, and my teeth are pretty straight for the most part but my insisors are a bit crooked but they look straight. My problem is that I have a misplaced midline because I sucked my thumbs for 11 years. I just noticed a couple weeks ago. I measured it and its about 3.5mm off. It also is very irritating to bite because the lip also feels weird. My mom pointed out that my face is now a bit assymetrical. This is getting to me a little bit and I don’t want it to cause confidence or negative dental health issues in the future. I would rather get it sorted now. Will my dentist allow me to get braces?? If not what other treatment options are available to me? Braces are my preferred choice and as I said having them now when I am younger suits me better, I couldn’t stand having them when I am an adult.
Can a tooth with lingual gum tissue that us tilting be saved by an orthodontic?
Thursday, February 14th, 2013 I’ve been in Sure Smile braces for a year. My mouth is in worse shape now. My bite is off and my lower central tooth on the left was moved where the bottom of the root started bulging lingually. My gum tissie receeded 4mms or more; most of the root is now exposed. (maybe 3mm’s of gum tissue remains linually, the gum tissue on buccal side is fully present) I am so scared I will lose this tooth. I scheduled with my orthodontist’s partner and asked him to take over my case. I will see him on Tuesday for a new wire. What are your thoughts? Do you think a tooth with little lingual gum tissue and is tilting and the root is bulging can be orthodontically saved, or did the orthodontist do irreversible damage? Please, your thoughts on this situation.

Do I Need Braces?
Tuesday, January 15th, 2013I’m wondering if I need braces. I’ve had confidence issues with my teeth for a while now (as I also have a gap tooth which I wouldn’t mind closed up a little bit more but overall I’m okay with that now) and I feel like now would be the time to get braces, if I need them. I went for a consultation with an orthodontist and he said that I did not need braces as my teeth have a good bite, but my front teeth really do stick out. They aren’t crooked or anything but they protrude at about a 30 degrees angle, instead of growing straight down. Do you think I need braces? The orthodontist I went to said that if I were to get braces to fix this problem, I wouldn’t get the procedure on the NHS. Is this true? Would retainers help my situation at all (I like the idea of something you can take off, I’m not keen on wearing braces for 2+ years buy I’ll do it if necessary)? And if braces aren’t the answer what can I do to stop them protruding so much?
