Post My tooth is sore after having a veneer fitted

    Hi,

My front upper left tooth was knocked out when I fell over a few years ago but i managed to push it back into place with my tongue. After that happened i got root canal treatment on that tooth (well at least the dentist told me I did).

Over the years the tooth had become discoloured so I decided to get a veneer. The veneer was fitted 5 days ago and my tooth is now quite sore and sensitive. Is this normal? Do I need to get the root canal checked?

    Please help.

    Hi

If the tooth is painful, I would recommend you see your dentist for a diagnosis. This will allow him/her to decide what needs to be done to get you out of pain.
