    Default Pain

    Hi there

I've just got back from having a front tooth implant - so far the dentist has only screwed the implant into the bone and the area is still numb but the pain is excruciating.

Is it normal to have this much pain so soon? I'm beside myself with agony and utterly miserable

    thanks in advance

    Hi

sometimes pain can occur a few days after implant surgery. If this is the case then routine painkillers should resolve this.

If the pain still continues then you may want to contact your implant surgeon to check.
