    Default Implant worries

I had an implant done a few years ago and was told recently by a specialist that it had been put in wrong and unfortunately the gum around the implant would slowly disappear.Im ok with this as it is lower bottom but I am in such pain and need to know how long this will last. Also will this affect any work if I need it replaced in the future?I am not covered in this country,am from NZ where I got it done partly through insurance?I seem to have a strange taste in my mouth, like titanium? It all seems very wierd and I am getting quite worried about the whoel situation?Any reassurance out there?

    Hi

I would recommend you have an examination immediately to see what the current situation is.. It is impossible for me diagnose the problem without xrays and an examination.

If there is an infection, then it is best to get treated as soon as possible , as this could affect future treatment.
