    Default Invisalign a possibility?

Hi! A little history to begin with::
1)I had braces from 14-16 and wore a retainer until my dentist told me that I didn't need to wear one anymore. Of course, then my bottom teeth became crooked and the gap between my front teeth, which had been closed, opened again.
    2) I then had to have a root canal and surgery for an abscess (bottom jaw) which caused one tooth to die and the one next to it to have a shorter root.
3)At 21, I had braces again only on the top to correct the diastema and still have a fixed retainer to keep it closed.
    4) Recently I got a crown on the dead bottom tooth because it had turned a nasty shade of black (internal bleaching had not lasted).

NOW, I am thinking of having braces/invisalign again because I have an anterior open bite (minimal) and my teeth only bite down on the right side. Is this possible or even a good idea considering I already have one crown and one shortened root?

    Thanks,

    elbob
