A Yorkshire dental firm has revealed that it is creating a host of new jobs amid expansion plans.

ARS Dental, which has clinics across the county, has revealed plans to open a new private surgery in Huddersfield after adding two Yorkshire Smiles practices to its books. The surgeries, which are located in Leeds and Barnsley, are the latest additions to a growing portfolio.

The new ARS dental clinic in Huddersfield will open in Thornhill Road and specialise in restorative and cosmetic services and implant treatment. The new facility will boast six treatment rooms, and dentists will accept referrals from practices that are part of the ARS chain.

Following the acquisition of Yorkshire Smiles clinics in Victoria Road, Barnsley and York Road, Leeds, ARS has announced plans to recruit ten new members of staff, who will be based across the two sites. The Barnsley practice is the chain’s first in South Yorkshire.

The growth of the company has been supported by Lloyd’s Bank Commercial Banking.

Dr Altaf Hussain, director of ARS, said that the opening of a brand new surgery and the acquisitions of two more surgeries mark a major step forward in the company’s development. Since 2004, the chain has expanded steadily and is now branching into different parts of the county. The aim is continue growing the business, extending its reach across the North of England.
