York Dentist Celebrates Best Young Dentist Of The Year Award
A dentist from York has received an early Christmas present after scooping the Best Young Dentist of the Year (North East) award at the Dentistry Awards.
Dr Kris Leeson, 31, graduated from the University of Leeds in 2005 and is now studying for a postgraduate degree in Dental Implantology at Warwick University. Dr Leeson established Thorpe Dental Group and the firm now has three practices in Bishopthorpe, Woodthorpe and Copmanthorpe. Dr Leeson has been working as a dentist for seven years and he is the principle dentist at the firm.
Dr Leeson beat off competition from other short-listed dentists; the decision was made by an expert panel of 11 judges and the awards ceremony was held at the Athena Cinema in Leicester at the beginning of the month.
Dr Leeson said that he was absolutely delighted to win the award and the entire dental team had a great time at the awards ceremony before enjoying a night out afterwards.
