A dental practice from Worthing adopted a novel approach to getting to know its patients by hosting an art soiree at the beginning of December. For one night only, Ferring Dental Practice was converted into a gallery showcasing the pieces of Lewes dentist, Nick Bodimeade.

Business development manager at the practice, Sacha Trunks, explained that the team had wanted to do something a little different to get to know and bond with patients and hosting an art soiree was a unique idea, which everyone thought would be fun and engaging, as well as educational. Mr Bodimeade was able to attend the event and the crowd enjoyed learning more about the individual pieces and the B Roads collection, to which they belong. The evening was a chance for the team to relax and enjoy the company of patients and an opportunity for people to mix outside of the treatment room environment.

During the evening, the inspirational artist gave a talk about the collection and he was also happy to answer questions.

Sacha added that the practice is forward-thinking and the team is always looking to do things that improve and enhance community life, as well as ensuring patients have access to the finest standards of care. An art event is not something you would generally expect to find at a dental surgery and the uniqueness of the evening made it all the more special.
