Matt Crisp, aged 60, has decided to retire after treating generations of Bromsgrove locals.

Dr Crisp supported the establishment of the New Road Dental Practice, which opened in the early 1980’s and has treated a number of patients across a period of 30 years.

The practice then reopened on the corner of New Road and Wellington Road, where a number of patients joined him due to his prominence in the area and his friendly, yet professional style of treatment.

The practice celebrated his retirement in the form of a staff meal and several old team members returned to him in order to provide well-wishes.

Matt who is a husband and father of two also put together a barbeque at his own home for his current colleagues to attend.

Practice manager, Sarah Wilson, said that everyone wishes him the best and that he will be missed by both colleagues and patients.
