A dental hygienist from Worcester has visited several local schools in her own time to offer brushing tips for children.

Jane Wilson, from Shrubbery Dental Practice, has been touring local schools over the past few months to provide children with fun, informal sessions on oral hygiene and healthy eating. She is aiming to encourage better oral health habits in a bid to drive down rates of childhood decay. It is estimated that Jane has spent time with more than 500 children as part of her mission to ensure children enjoy healthy smiles.

Business development manager at Shrubbery Dental Practice, Katie Griffiths, said that everyone at the clinic is incredibly proud of Jane and the work she does to educate children and give them the knowledge and information they need to develop good oral health habits. The team is so proud that staff wanted to spread the word about Jane’s achievements and thank for her commitment and passion, which is benefiting hundreds of children in the area.

Jane has already made plans to visit a string of local schools in the coming weeks, and she is looking forward to meeting the children and getting them on the right path to healthy, bright smiles.
