Wincanton dentist celebrates prestigious awards nomination

A dentist from Wincanton has plenty to smile about after learning that he has been shortlisted for the prestigious Dentist of the Year Awards.

Simon Albiston, from Church Street Dental Practice, has beaten off tough competition to reach the final, which will be judged on the weekend on the 12/13th May. The ceremony will take place in Birmingham at the NEC.

Simon has owned Church Street Dental Practice for 24 years and his hard work has earned the clinic plaudits from the British Dental Association. The practice has been credited with the Good Practice award, which is given in recognition of high standards of customer service and clinical excellence.

Simon has recently completed postgraduate study at Bristol University, and he devotes one day per week to working at the Royal United Hospital in Bath as a clinical assistant for the NHS.

In addition to providing general dental care, Simon has a special interest in Orthodontics, and he is also an expert in implantology. He is a clinical partner at Evodental, which specialises in the All-on-4 system. He also has training in sedation dentistry and he offers acupuncture for anxiety and patients who suffer from TMJ disorder. Church Street Dental Practice offers a combination of NHS and private dental services, as well as the latest facial aesthetic treatments.
