A number of US celebrities have already jumped on board with the project which has been dumped “Smile Pink.” The crystal is safely applied using dental glue and can be easily removed.

Dr. Anthony Vocaturo of the Centre of Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry in Bayonne, New Jersey spearheaded the campaign. He initially launched the “Smile for the Cause” program along with Me. Katie Anton and Ms. Billie Prisby, but this is the teams’ first nationwide campaign.

Lucretia Gilbert, Director of Development at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®, stated that the campaign would help to ‘…spread awareness about the importance of funding lifesaving breast cancer research.’ The campaign launched it’s official website, and all proceeds of the campaign will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.
