Uppingham Dental Practice Supports Christmas Appeal

Sample News Big

A dental practice in Uppingham is supporting a local Christmas appeal to ensure that everyone gets a gift this Christmas.

The team at Market Place Dental Practice has been working hard to collect gifts in the run-up to Christmas by supporting the Rotary Club Christmas appeals. Local businesses have put up Christmas trees all over the town, which have labels attached with the details of groups of people, including the elderly and children, who would appreciate a gift this festive season. The idea is that people take a label and then bring back a gift for the relevant group of people.

Joyce Marston, from the Uppingham Rotary Club, said that Rotarians are absolutely delighted with the response from local people and businesses. The labels have flown off the trees and members are working hard to gather gifts and distribute them to the relevant people.

Trees have been placed at Market Place Dental Practice, Empingham Medical Practice and the Falcon Hotel in Empingham and gifts will be collected until 16th December.

All gifts should be valued at between £5 and £10 and they should be wrapped up and placed underneath the tree at the relevant organisation.
