Trainee Dental Nurse to Take on Europe’s Finest Golfers
A trainee dental nurse has a busy year ahead. Charlotte Ellis will complete her dental nurse training this year, as well as taking on Europe’s finest female golfers on the Ladies European Golf Tour.
Charlotte has been working at her father Robin’s dental practice in Stow-on-the-Wold, while also honing her golf skills in preparation for the tour. Charlotte has impressed with her performances on the golf course but is keen to complete her dental studies to ensure she has “something to fall back on.”
Charlotte, a member of the Minchinhampton Golf Club, gained her Tour Card after an impressive performance at a qualifying tournament in La Manga, Spain. After nine tough rounds, Charlotte finished in joint ninth spot and became one of only three English golfers to qualify.
Charlotte is now looking for sponsors after deciding to go professional and over the course of the next month, she will be focusing on writing to companies to try and attract their support. She is a promising talent and is looking forward to becoming more involved in the sport and increasing the number of competitive events she attends over the course of the coming months and years.
