Todmorden Dentist Shortlisted For National Award
A dentist from Todmorden has been shortlisted for a national dental award.
Nicholas Cole, from Blanc Dental Care in Todmorden is being considered in one of the categories at the National Aesthetic Awards. This is the first time he has entered the competition and he said that he was shocked but delighted.
Mr Cole submitted a case study of a case involving a series of different treatments, including orthodontics, tooth whitening and fillings and he said that he was “chuffed” with the nomination because he has only started using the new brace system fairly recently and this is the first time he has sent in a portfolio for consideration by the judges.
Mr Cole qualified from Newcastle University in 2004 and worked in dental hospitals, before moving to Blanc Dental Care in 2010.
Mr Cole will be attending the awards ceremony in London later this month and is excited to be shortlisted along with the leading Harley Street practices; he said that the nomination is not just for him, but for the whole team, which has supported him over the years. He said he was looking forward to the event and even if he does not win the award, it is still a great achievement to reach the shortlist.
