North Wales Police are appealing for information after thieves stole cash from a dental practice in Flint. The break-in occurred overnight on 8th April.

A spokeswoman for Yvette Hopkins Dental Surgery confirmed that a break-in had occurred, but the practice was open for business as usual and any patients who have appointments booked will be treated as normal. The front door has been smashed, but it is now boarded up and will be replaced in the near future. A sum of cash was taken, but the exact amount is not yet known.

PC Reid, from North Wales Police, called for anyone who has any information about the incident to contact police on the non-emergency number, 101. He confirmed that investigations are underway and advised the public to be wary of any suspicious behaviour. North Wales Police takes burglary very seriously and officers will be working to find the culprit of the dental surgery robbery and to protect local people from similar events in the future. PC Reid stated that patrols will be “stepped up” in the town and officers will be questioning potential suspects to try and ascertain where the blame lies.

Anyone who knows anything about the incident can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. The reference for this case is RC15049588.
