Britain’s most celebrated tennis star has been spotted showing off a brand new smile.
Grand slam winner, Andy Murray, has been pictured in the press sporting a new and improved smile after undergoing extensive dental treatment. The Wimbledon champion, who has taken time out to recover from a severe hip injury, debuted his new gnashers at the London Marathon on Sunday 28th April.
Andy’s mother, Judy, recently spoke about undergoing intensive dental work to enhance her smile, and now, her match-winning son has followed in her footsteps. Andy has opted for a natural look, rather than all-out A-list glamour, and it is believed he took the decision to have treatment after feeling self-conscious about the appearance of his teeth. Treatment has been carried out to straighten and reshape the teeth, fill gaps and whiten the smile.
Andy’s new look is typical of the trend for subtler, more natural transformations, which has become increasingly popular in recent years. Although mega-watt smiles sported by reality TV and football stars remain popular, there has been a shift towards more understated looks favoured by personalities including the duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge.
