Swadlincote Dental Team Celebrates Awards Success
A dental team from Swadlincote has plenty to smile about after scooping a prestigious national award. Members of staff from Alexandra Dental Care were crowned the ‘Team of the Year’ at the Dental Awards 2016.
The team beat off strong competition from practices all over the UK to win the title. Practice manager Zoe Sharp said that the award was a great honour and added that everyone involved was “over the moon”. The team works hard to provide the best possible standards of care and service fro patients and it’s an amazing achievement to be crowned the best team in the country.
Mrs Sharp has spent the last decade working at Alexandra Dental Care and she is confident that the surgery is going from strength to strength. The aim is to improve on a continual basis.
This was the first time the practice has competed in this category and everyone was thrilled to find out they had made it into the top eight. It was only on the night of the ceremony in Birmingham that the team realised they had won. The ceremony took place at the NFC on Friday April 22nd and everyone enjoyed a fantastic night.
The practice, which is due to mark its 20th birthday in November, employs a total of 22 members of staff.
Principal dentist Yogi Savania thanked everyone for their hard work and dedication and added that it is a spectacular achievement for a small practice to win such a prestigious award.
