Swadlincote Dental Practice Celebrates BDA Award

A dental practice in Swadlincote has been honoured by the British Dental Association.

Delph Dental, in Swadlincote,South Derbyshire, has been awarded Gold Membership of the British Dental Association’s Good Practice Scheme in recognition of ten years of membership of the scheme.

In celebration of the award, the practice will be featured in a publication, along with other practices across the UK, which have obtained Gold Membership; all the practices have also been invited to an exclusive event at the British Dental Conference and Exhibition and their award will be officially recognised by Dr Barry McGonigle, the incoming president of the BDA.

Dr McGonigle said that the good practice scheme is designed to recognise consistently high standards of dental care and the commitment and dedication of the entire dental team. He added that to satisfy these high standards for ten years is an excellent achievement and the team at Delph Dental should be very proud.

A spokesman for the practice said that it is a great honour to receive Gold Membership. The practice has to satisfy more than 100 criteria to receive the Good Practice award and the fact that Delph Dental has consistently satisfied these criteria for ten years is a really great achievement.
