A dental surgery has adopted a novel approach to soothing nervous patients by agreeing to display art work produced by local school students.

Work by students at Buckingham School is now on display at The Gallery Dental and Implant Centre. The exhibition has been produced by students in Year 10 and GCSE art candidates. The pictures were available to view for the first time on Friday.

Victoria Richardson, head of the curriculum for art, said that it was an amazing opportunity for the students to have a permanent exhibition space and the students are able to see their work exhibited outside of the school walls, which gives them a great sense of achievement.

Members of staff at the practice are delighted with the displays and believe that patients will enjoy looking at the pictures while they wait.
