Stoke dental nurse launches new business selling healthy treats for dogs

A dental nurse from Kidsgrove, near Stoke, has launched a new online business selling healthy, natural treats for dogs.

Lucy Reynolds, 35, decided to set up her own business after taking steps to try and reduce plastic consumption at home. Lucy quickly realised that the supplies she was buying for her three dogs were contributing to a hefty pile of plastic waste, and she started looking for alternative products online.

Having found products that weren’t packaged in single-use plastic, Lucy found that her friends and family were interested in buying the same items, and her business grew from there.

While juggling her work as a dental nurse, Lucy has established Green Paw Prints, providing pups and pooches with natural, healthy treats that are better for the environment. The success of the business prompted Lucy to expand the product range and she now offers pet accessories and toys too. She is also now offering supplies for cats.

Lucy has received incredibly positive feedback from customers and she said that demand is growing, as most people don’t want to buy plastic and they’re interested in adopting greener ways of living.

Lucy’s website offers UK-wide delivery and she is also looking forward to attending her first show soon. She has a stall, which will be open to customers, at the dog show fundraiser for the 12th Stafford Scout Group on August 22nd.
