Softly does it, Towards Brilliant Dental Health

The dental company Curaprox have launched a new range of toothbrush, which utilizes soft-headed produces for a gentler yet effective clean.

The traditional sonic toothbrush has found many fans, but Richard Thomas, the company’s international sales director, believes that although their new product is different to the popular sonic toothbrush brand, it is sure to find many happy users.

The Curen filament technology used means that each of the new brushes will have a greater number of brush filaments in comparison to other toothbrushes, with 5,460 filaments in comparison to just 500-1,600.

A larger number of filaments means a softer yet more effective clean, with Richard Thomas comparing the effect the toothbrush has upon plaque with a soft hand brush and a pile of sand: “The example I use is that if you tipped a pile of sand onto a kitchen floor, it’s more effective to clean it up with a soft head with lots of bristles than a hard brush; the technology is the same with plaque.”

The brush is also able to clean to the gumline without causing the bleeding that often occurs with sonic toothbrushes, which is sure to be an added bonus for its users.
