Snap-On Smile hits the UK
A new cosmetic dental treatment has hit the UK.
In recent years, cosmetic dentistry has become extremely popular and a large number of people have undergone treatment to improve the aesthetic appearance of their smile. Now, a new treatment, the Snap-On Smile, has hit the UK.
The Snap-On Smile is an American export, like many of the popular cosmetic treatment. The Snap-On Smile does exactly what its name suggests; it fits onto the original teeth, much like false nails are placed over the top of nails. The Snap-On Smile is essentially a set of false teeth, which fit over the teeth to give the illusion of a perfect smile. The patient selects a colour shade and then chooses the shape of the teeth, based on a choice of three; the information is then sent to a laboratory in America and the patient’s new teeth are sent back.
According to Dr Jag Basrai, one of the UK’s first dentists to offer the aesthetic treatment, the Snap-On Smile is an ideal solution for patients who are worried about drilling and needles, as well as those who do not want to pay hundreds or even thousands of pounds for treatments such as veneers or dental implants. The Snap-On Smile is also a perfect solution for people who want to benefit from a perfect smile for an event or occasion, such as a wedding.
The Snap-on Smile costs £900 including consultation fees. Claire Coleman, from the Daily Mail, trialled the treatment and said the Snap-On Smile made a significant difference to the appearance of her smile. She said it was a little difficult to talk initially and felt slightly odd; however, she was impressed by the appearance of her teeth and said the treatment would be really effective for people who wanted to enhance their smile without having expensive, invasive treatment.Join this Discussion
