Snaith surgery wins national prize
A Snaith dental clinic has picked up a national award for the quality of its preventative care.
Young’s Dental Practice, which has been in private business for almost 30 years, has won the title Preventative Practice of the Year 2009.
An independent panel of judges gave the title to Young’s after it was shortlisted along with entries NHS, mixed and private care dentists.
Young’s dentist Dr Sally Wright said that the clinic has and will always believe that prevention is better than a cure and that is what had won it the award.
She added that all the Young’s staff were delighted to win the title and that national recognition was a great reward for all of their hard work.
Dr Wright believes that this award was extra special because of the clinic’s rural setting. Typically such awards go to practices in larger towns and cities.
