Sidmouth welcomes new NHS dental practice
A new NHS dental practice has opened in the town of Sidmouth, offering NHS places for an additional eight thousand residents in the area.
The Mill Street Dental Practice, which is managed by the Den Dental Group, will ease pressure on local dentists by increasing NHS provision in the area. The new clinic has already started accepting patients and the local NHS Primary Care Trust is encouraging Sidmouth residents without an NHS dentist to register with the Mill Street practice.
The facility has been recently refurbished and provides spacious, modern rooms with all the latest technology; Den Dental Group has ploughed thousands of pounds into the practice and staff are looking forward to welcoming new patients into the new surgery.
The practice currently employs three dentists but there are plans for two more dentists to join the team in the future. The surgery is open from 8:30am-1pm and 2pm-5pm from Monday to Friday but hours will be extended in the future. Patients who wish to register with the practice are urged to contact the practice directly to arrange an appointment.
