A dental practice in Sheffield has a new owner. Dr Jon Meyer has sold Dore Dental Care to Dr Sanraj Dulay.

The practice, which is located on Causeway Head Road, has been up and running for 40 years. Dr Meyer has owned the clinic since 2000. Although he has passed the reins on to Dr Dulay, a first-time buyer from The Midlands, Dr Meyer is hoping to stay at the practice for at least three years.

Dr Dulay has grand plans for the practice and his first jobs include refitting and modernising the third surgery and increasing the range of private dental services on offer.

The acquisition of the practice was overseen by Christie & Co. Director, Jonathan Watson, said that it was “a real pleasure” to work with Jon and Sanraj. The practice has an excellent reputation in the local area, and the duo will work well building on a solid base to develop the private business side and provide new and existing patients with a wider and more diverse range of services.

Speaking about the process, Dr Meyer said that he was slightly apprehensive about selling after 20 years of ownership, but admitted that it had been largely stress-free with just a “few minor hiccups.” Having completed the sale, Jon is now looking forward to spending many more years at the practice and working with Sanraj.
