Shane McGowan Looking For A Dentist After Landing Hollywood Job
Pogues singer, Shane McGowan is looking for a dentist after landing a role in Hollywood, according to his girlfriend.
The singer, who famously has no teeth, is looking for a “talented dentist” according to his girlfriend, Mary Jane Clarke. Ms Clarke tweeted that McGowan, who was renowned for his gap-toothed smile during the band’s hay-day, was looking to have dental implants after receiving a role in a Hollywood job. McGowan had his last two teeth removed in 2009 when he began wearing dentures. However, he has stopped wearing the false teeth and is now looking for a dentist to provide implant treatment in return for “an ad campaign” to promote the dentist’s services.
Mr McGowan lost a number of teeth as a result of his hedonistic lifestyle and an accident, which meant that he lost several teeth after falling into a brick wall. Ms Clarke tweeted that her 55 year old boyfriend was desperate for a Hollywood-style smile, as he has recently been offered a movie role.
Hollywood is notorious for its beautiful people and the Hollywood smile has become incredibly popular, with most A-listers sporting a bright white, flawless smile.
