Senator Clinton ‘could benefit from teeth whitening’
A US cosmetic dentist has offered his opinion on the presidential candidate’s smiles.
California dentist Michael Kosdon of The Oaks Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry has claimed that Barack Obama has a brighter, more attractive smile than Hilary Clinton.
Senator Clinton could benefit from replacing her crowns with new veneers and a teeth whitening treatment, he commented
"She doesn’t have to go bright, bright white but a few shades will make a difference," Dr Kosdon said.
Other candidates who would benefit from cosmetic dental treatment include John McCain, he added, claiming that although his smile is fitting of a man his age, teeth whitening would improve it.
According to Dr Kosdon, Mitt Romney, who is no longer in the running for president, had a slightly phony smile which was a "little too perfect".
In the UK, women in their late 40s and early 50s are the most common cosmetic dentistry patients, according to a Mintel survey.
