Sarrell Dental clinic files law suit against Alabama Dental Association
The clinic is taking action on the grounds that they believe Alabama Dental Association is trying to close their business down.
Representatives from the Sarrell clinic said they had been left with no other option but to pursue legal action after talks broke down and the Alabama Dental Association refused to back down.
The file was submitted on Wednesday to the Calhoun County Circuit Court and asserts that Alabama Dental Association is involved in an “illegal conspiracy”, which contravenes local legislation.
Executive Director of the Alabama Dental Association, Zack Studstill, said he did not know anything about the law suit. He also said his association would not take any action to close down any service which is of benefit to the public as it did not have the inclination or the power to do so.
