Porcelain veneers ‘give patient satisfaction’
Porcelain veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures, according to US firm Dream Smile.
It explains that veneers can correct stubborn discoloration that cannot be removed by tooth whitening, gaps between teeth, chips and cracks in the surface, crookedness, misalignment and mismatched sizes.
The firm says that the procedure will take around two weeks and that dentists will choose a shade which closely matches the patients own teeth.
Following treatment, porcelain veneers are strong and durable enough to last a lifetime, as long as the patient treats their teeth with care.
"Not only will your teeth be attractive when you smile, but so will the spirit of your smile be happy, because of the huge satisfaction that people feel," the firm claims. "You won’t be able to stop smiling!"
The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry reports that veneers have increased in popularity by as much as 144 per cent, following their usage on television makeover programmes.
