Porcelain veneers are ‘comfortable and durable’
Porcelain veneers are long-lasting and comfortable, a cosmetic dentist has claimed.
Dr Jan Linhart explained that he uses the strongest porcelain to ensure that the veneers last decades.
He also reshapes the natural tooth structure so that the veneers reflect the natural shape and size of the patient’s teeth.
"The results from such a procedure can be stunning, transforming crooked, yellow, or misaligned teeth into a beautiful natural smile," he said.
Placing porcelain veneers can be completed in days, Dr Linhart added, as a technician will make temporary veneers using moulds and pictures of the individual’s teeth.
The cosmetic dentist will then analyse what needs to be changed on the temporary model and create customised porcelain veneers to be placed in the mouth.
Denver-based dentist Dr Brett H Kessler recently told Rocky Mountain News that actress Anne Hathaway may have had veneers fitted to achieve her perfect smile.
He told the newspaper that her teeth have "great" natural colour and are "beautifully" in proportion.
