English Pop Star Dua Lipa has been forced to cancel two shows on her current tour of Australia due to wisdom teeth pain that requires immediate surgery to alleviate.

The singer, known for “New Rules” and “IDGAF” was playing support shows for the Australia and New Zealand leg of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World tour, and is missing tonight and tomorrow’s shows at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in order for her wisdom teeth to be extracted..

A statement given by Live Nation, promotors of the show, Dua Lipa was advised to have immediate dental surgery by doctors, which have forced her to miss the two shows while she recovers.

Lipa herself said in a series of tweets that she had been performing whilst in “awful pain” as a result of her wisdom teeth and was “so upset” at the news that she would have to cancel shows. Currently it appears that only these two shows are affected.

The next show she is scheduled to be at is a series of five shows at Quodos Bank arena in Sydney from 17th March, before a show at Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on 26th March and two final shows at Perth Arena on the 28th and 29th of March.

Dua Lipa, 22, has had two UK top ten singles as well as a number one single in 2017.
