Plymouth University Offers New Course In Dentistry

Plymouth University Peninsula Schools Of Medicine and Dentistry will be welcoming its first dental students on the 16th September. So far, over 60 students have enrolled on the course giving which means it is 100% filled.

Many of the students have had lots of experience in the medical field; from working with handicapped children, to being involved in healthcare abroad. They come with a wealth of experience in many different sectors.

The course itself is a five-year entry course reaching A-level status. The students will be learning using the most modern and highly effective training and technologies, where they will also work closely with NHS patients during training.

They will start to treat NHS dental patients under the watchful eye of qualified and highly skilled dentists.

Not only is the course a great help for dental students, it also offer NHS treatment to patients in the area who may not have access to dental care prior to the course.
