Plans Submitted to Turn Football Pitch into Dental Centre

Plans have been submitted to convert an all-weather football pitch in Tillydrone, Scotland, into a new health and dental centre.

The proposals include the construction of a new football pitch nearby at Ferrier Crescent, which will be of a better quality than the existing one. The pitch will be funded by the sale of the land to NHS Grampian.

Dr Margaret Bochel, head of planning and sustainable development at Aberdeen Council, said that a new health and dental centre would be of great benefit to local people and the current football pitch would be replaced with a better surface, which will be advantageous for those who are currently using the all-weather pitch.

Members of the council will discuss the proposals at a meeting at the Town House on Thursday 3rd November.
