Plans for new dental service in Weston revealed
Plans to include a new dental service at the For All Healthy Living Centre in Weston have been unveiled.
The centre provides a range of health and wellbeing services and chief executive of For All Healthy Living, Mark Graham, has announced that he wants to add a dental service to the Weston clinic.
Mr Graham said that access to dental services was an issue for some people in the local area and the centre will work closely with the North Somerset Primary Care Trust to try and improve access to dental care in the area.
Mr Graham is hoping to open a dental clinic at the facility by September; it is anticipated that the clinic will operate on certain days of the week and there are plans to include a community outreach element, which will help to involve families in oral health.
The dental surgery will be funded by the North Somerset Primary Care Trust.
