Planning Application Submitted For New Private Dental Surgery In Long Sutton
A planning application to create a new private surgery in Long Sutton has been submitted.
The application is appealing to convert a former butcher’s shop in Market Street into a new private dental practice, which would provide appointments from Monday to Saturday. The shop was run by A W Jackson and Sons, based in Holbeach, until recently and is now vacant.
If planning consent is granted, the practice will open from 6.30am until 6.30 pm Monday to Saturday, enabling patients to access treatment 12 hours a day.
It is no yet known how many dentists would be working at the practice but further details are expected in the near future.
The new dental practice would undoubtedly improve access to dental care in the town, with patients able to make the most of extended opening hours, which fit in with full-time working hours.
