A dental duo from Penryn is celebrating spending 25 years at the reception desk. Kim Long and Nadine Francis have been working as receptionists at Penryn Dental Practice for two and a half decades.

The dynamic duo, which was described as the “backbone of this practice” by principal dentist, Donal O’Halloran, has been tending to the needs of patients and welcoming them to the surgery through periods of change and modernisation. Over the past 25 years, dentistry has evolved, and Kim and Nadine have moved with the times, embracing change and ensuring that patients are as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Having joined the practice in the 90s, Kim and Nadine quickly became very popular members of the team and they are well-known in the local area. Both started life at the practice as dental nurses, switching to the reception desk around 18 years ago.

To mark the occasion, the team paid tribute to the pair and gifted them vouchers for a stay at Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall, which they plan to enjoy with their respective partners. Speaking about the milestone, Nadine said that it has been a great pleasure to be part of such a brilliant and dedicated team and to work in a beautiful setting.
